Roger Murphree, Vice President of Collateral International, is also Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of New South Federal Savings Bank. Since 1985, Roger has actively been involved in secondary marketing and risk management with New South Federal and Collateral Mortgage, Ltd.

New South's operations principally involve deposit products, residential mortgage lending, residential construction and land development lending, and automobile installment lending. The Company operates offices throughout the United States and is one of the leading mortgage lenders in Alabama.

Roger spent ten years in public accounting before moving into the financial services industry. He served as Senior Vice President of Birmingham Federal Savings and Loan and was a partner at Dent Baker & McDowell.

Roger graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the AICPA and the Alabama Society of CPAs.
